Substrate Material
A wide range of substrates can be supplied which include: Glass, Quartz, Fibre Optics, IR Filter Glass, View Ports, Lead Glass, Silicon Wafers, and Metals
Or we can strip and recoat your own free issued optics.
Our standard sizes range between 2mm - 200mm diameter, square, rectangles or domed substrates. Larger sizes are also available upon request.
We provide a total in house manufacturing solution where highly skilled staff use our precision optic machining facilities to supply specified items, or will work with the customer to meet their requirements using both experience and innovative techniques where necessary.

Utilizing our Class 100 laminar flow cabinets along with our UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) experience, means our Phosphor Screens can be inserted into Detector Housings (Electro Mechanical Assemblies) to our customer specifications.
Benefits
Scintillators having fast response times, i.e. <100 ns, and having high sensitivity and resolution optimized to the performance of a Photo Multipliers Tube.
Most of our Phosphor screens are 100% UHV compatible, and bake able to 400° C
Data Sheets available upon request.
TMS's Phosphor Screens are supplied with ITO (indium tin oxide) undercoat or Al (aluminum) coatings to dispel charge.
Advantage of the Al coating is the increase in efficiency whilst enhancing the brightness by reflecting scattered light back. The Aluminum thickness can be altered to your various applications using our thin film deposition monitoring sensors.
Antireflective coatings can also be applied.
Others available on request.
